  1. Thank you for this. Terry and I have discussed doing a new Ms. Tree graphic novel, as well as collecting the existing material, for some time. But the need to pursue making a living in our various manners has been in the way. No legal rights tie up the character, although there's some entanglement over the TV rights. The MS. TREE novel, DEADLY BELOVED, is my novelization of the script I wrote the TV series that never happened. With Terry doing the REX MORGAN and PHANTOM strips, and me writing four or five novels a year, doing Ms. Tree again seems unlikely...but doing Ms. Tree in the world of comics has always been unlikely.

    1. Thank you for this comment, Mr. Collins. We can't thank you enough for taking the time to listen to our rambling thoughts on work you did 20+ years ago!

So sad that it appears that this is the end of Ms Tree. I will enjoy and appreciate what we have ... and yet still keep my fingers crossed for more.

  2. Truly an honor to have caught the attention of one of Ms. Tree's co-creators, especially since this podcast episode was such a labor of love!

Interesting information re: the background of the DEADLY BELOVED novel; that's next up in my reading pile, so I'll be keeping the TV-series-that-never-was back in my mind.

Further Ms. Tree collections are essential, but I'd be over the moon should a new graphic novel ever be announced. Here's hoping!

  3. Both Terry and I want to do a MS. TREE graphic novel. It may yet happen. Always a mistake to think Ms. Tree is finished.
