Sorry it took a bit to comment! Life coming at me these days!
ReplyDeleteMy FCBD was not as eventful this year. This wasn't a date night and everything else going on kept me to only my store. The place was mobbed ... always a good sign. As you know, my store has a very very strict policy of 2 free books. So for me, I grabbed the DC book and the Jem reprint because I loved that book. The next day, I returned to get 2 more books, the young reader Spidey book you mentioned for young relatives I am trying to bring into the fold.
Even though I am there every week, I still try to buy something on FCBD knowing the cost the store takes on for this celebration. So I got the second the trade of Absolute WW, a book I am really enjoying. Hope you and Em are reading.
And thrilled you read the new Supergirl, a sort of love letter to Kara's history as well as refreshing the status quo!
You? Busy? No .....
DeleteYou are not the first person to recommend Absolute WW. And yes, that Supergirl series is a fun read.
