  1. I love the term you used for this comic - death throes.
    We have all read comics we knew were about to be axed and the sort of sudden flushing of talent, effort, and love put into the books.
    I mean ... this is Doom 2099, taking place in 1996, fighting a drug war against crabs. All with multiple artists. This is lightyears away from the Moore/Broderick concept.
    Nothing gold can stay.
