Love hearing con stories and love that you have been bitten by the commission bug. I usually steer towards the bigger comic names for sketches but there is part of me that wants to start supporting the smaller folks in artist's alley just starting out. I usually target folks with a Supergirl history or for folks with specific styles where I think a Supergirl sketch would be cool. Kudos on your gets!
ReplyDeleteGlad the Frakes interaction was great. Glad Grell was so cool (and want to see his sketch!). Not surprised the Sutherlands were generous.
And like you say, the last day of the con is where you can start haggling a bit more with dealers. They want to sell!
Hope we run into each other at a Con sometime soon!
