Firstly, thanks so much for the link to Anj’s Lori Lemaris post on my old blog. I notice the pics disappeared when I moved from Blogger to Wordpress, but I seem to have fixed that.

Professor Alan, as regards how representative that issue of Showcase starring King Faraday was of the times, it wasn’t actually a Silver Age issue – the stories were reprints from Danger Trail in 1950, presumedly published to cash in James Bond.
I suppose people have already pointed out that you accidentally called Maxwell Lord in that Countdown to Infinite Crisis issue, Morgan Edge – well they are both slick operators.
Yes, those slick operators are all the same to me. And thanks for the King Faraday / James Bond connection.
