I don't know if I ever went through a 'Batman Phase' as discussed. Never really got obsessed with reading the books. At most, old school Brave And The Bold was a 'buy when I saw it' on the spinner. And I would get LOTDK when the creative team seemed like a winner.
ReplyDeleteI do think that exploring Bruce's training has been well-mined over the years so what is one more to the pile. But the 'with great power comes great responsibility' wrinkle of letting Chill go is very interesting.
I don't think any of this has stuck in the origin continuity.
Yes, we assumed none of this lasted very long in terms of continuity.
