Never seen or heard of these! Incredible! Nothing better than free stuff!
ReplyDeleteAnd an interesting mix of classic and new. Just a few comments.
That Red Hulk run was silly fun, mostly like watching a monster movie like 'War of the Gargantuans' as well as trying to figure out the mystery of who was the Red Hulk. McGuinness is perfect for an artist on something like that. But later issues are a split of Art Adams/Frank Cho. Pretty cool.
'Born Again' is timeless.
I love me some Jean Grey but didn't really glom onto this solo title so maybe if you read you'll have to let me know.
And while I love Spider-Gwen and think her costume is awesome, I don't need a young Gwen Stacy living in the 616. Let Gwen stay unmarred in the main world.
Cool. I will investigate that Red Hulk run.
DeleteI read the Phoenix trade, and it was fine. It did not overlap with a ton of Marvel characters and stories, which worked just fine for me.
If I were more connected to Marvel, and more passionate about their continuity, I'd probably agree with you on Gwen.
