Always good to hear you and Paul chat. And this story does indeed sound interesting with a nice twist ending.
ReplyDeleteBut count me in as one of those on the 'ugh JMS' side of the scale. I truly loved his work on Supreme Power, one of the few deconstructions of DC archetypes that I thought worked.
However, once he started Superman down 'Grounded' and left halfway through when it was clear this was a bad direction (oh something he did on Wonder Woman AT THE SAME TIME!), I said never again.
I won't give him another dime.
I get that, and support your choice. Of course, if a choice involves NOT spending money, I'm generally in favor ...
