  1. That Blade Runner book is very good.

Ash is the main character of a story which spans years. If you like the movie and you liked that FCBD issue, you should grab the book! - Anj

  2. Great show, Perfessor, the Hallowe’en episode is always a highlight of the year, and boy, has this year needed highlights. Big tas for letting me have feedback on that issue of Secrets of Haunted House even before the show came out.

Did the Investor-gators throw money at problems?

That Charlton comic featuring a Hellfire Club story which was reprinted in 1977 was, you suggested, a response to Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s nod to the UK Avengers TV series’ spin on the original 18th-century secret society. I checked for you, as I was reading the comic at the time and 1977 sounded a mite too early. Also, I thought it unlikely Charlton was that organised with its reprints. So.... (drum roll), the X-Men Hellfire Club storyline came out in 1980.

Tomb of Dracula #1 was your favourite read of the month, but I’d love to know, did any of the stories that you read in the run-up to Hallowe’en stay with you in the dead of night, causing you shudder in the dark?

    1. I thought about looking up that Hell-Fire Club, but it was more fun just thinking about what the connection may have been ...

Investor - Gators? Sir Martin, you should be ashamed of yourself. And proud. And ashamed.
