  1. Well, that was indeed a busy month, I hope being back at work is OK. As you know, I’ve been working throughout, which means I’ve had no extra time to read comics about Doctor Doom. Please may I be permitted a plenary indulgence.

    You mentioned having been sent Avengers #502 but never mentioned it. I supposed there’s nothing remotely positive you could say about that horror.

    I’ve never understood ‘Pogo plane’ - does it jump?

    Aren’t those Papercutz books the ones with new translations, supposedly because US people won’t enjoy Anthea Bell and Derek Hockridge’s work? I despair.
