Top show. How the heck do you find the time to read so many comics? You have a job and a wife... I know 1000-page Archie jumbo digests aren’t the densest of reads, but they must making up.
ReplyDeleteOf all the comics you mention the stone-cold classic is the JLA debut of Felix Faust. The Demons Three as pencilled by Mike Sekowsky remain far creepier than modern redesigns. And that Fantastic Fingers cover (homaging Sensation Comics #109) is pretty much iconic. That was the first issue of JLA I ever read - passed down to me, I’m not THAT old - but I deny nostalgia goggles!
As long as my wife and employer don't ask those tough questions, I think I'm OK.
DeleteYes, I probably read that Felix Faust issue too quickly, knowing Faust and the Demons Three, but not appreciating the historic nature of the book.
Appreciate you listening and feeding back.
