  1. I had a comment written in my iPhone notes with two points but I accidentally deleted it... I remember that one of them addressed your query about when the Channel Tunnel was first mooted. That would be the early 19th century, so I don’t think we can credit DC war comics as the inspiration.

    I loved up the Doom series you were talking about on Marvel Unlimited but wound up with the sequel, The Emperor Returns, which seems pretty good. I can’t wait to see how you Professor Alan, misguided acolyte of a weak man who is forever using vainglorious bluster to deny his entirely appropriate inferiority complex, spins the awesomeness of... well, I won’t spoil it as you’re likely covering this one on the next episode! All I shall say is ‘You are doody’!
