I had a comment written in my iPhone notes with two points but I accidentally deleted it... I remember that one of them addressed your query about when the Channel Tunnel was first mooted. That would be the early 19th century, so I don’t think we can credit DC war comics as the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI loved up the Doom series you were talking about on Marvel Unlimited but wound up with the sequel, The Emperor Returns, which seems pretty good. I can’t wait to see how you Professor Alan, misguided acolyte of a weak man who is forever using vainglorious bluster to deny his entirely appropriate inferiority complex, spins the awesomeness of... well, I won’t spoil it as you’re likely covering this one on the next episode! All I shall say is ‘You are doody’!
