Bill Mantlo is one of my favorite comic writers, and I've slowly been amassing a collection of his stuff. I can't argue he's always great, but his style just so specifically clicks with me that he can do no wrong in my book. I've also feel for the guy as what happened to him very closely mirrors what happened to my sister, so I know first hand how devastating an injury like that can be to him and his family.
