I definitely bought this off the rack. I had never heard of the Atomic Knights and if a guest in DCCP or B&B was someone I had never heard about or read about, it was a surefire buy. This was how you learned the extended universe.
ReplyDeleteI can remember thinking 'huh, maybe this is the only time I'll read them' given the story.
I can remember the letter column discussing this issue being pretty harsh that the story basically undid their history. Might be interesting for you to seek it out to read the reaction then.
You know, I usually don’t seek out letter pages or commentary on these old issues that I cover. But now that you mention it, if I ever see issue 60 or 61 out in the wild, that may be worth a pick up. Great idea!
